External Control
Use an external device or a mechanical contract to interlock
and control the ventilation system. The figure below shows the
configuration where one external controller and a kitchen hood or
differential pressure switch are connected.
Using external controller
– It connects both sides of EXT1.
– If the external controller 1 is set to ON position, ERV is
operated in the last used condition.
Using a kitchen hood
– Connect the kitchen hood to both sides of HOOD.
– Set SEG17 of the installation option 1 (02 mode) to 0.
(Default: 1)
– When the kitchen hood is turned on, the supply air operates
at the Turbo fan speed and the exhaust air operates at the
Low fan speed.
Using a differential pressure switch
-Connect the differential pressure switch to both sides of
HOOD.
– Set SEG17 of the installation option 1 (02 mode) to 1.
(Default: 1)
-The pressure difference between the front and back of the
filter is measured to display filter-cleaning reminders on the
wired remote control display.
